For anyone wanting to become more confident riding or looking for basic knowledge of natural riding dynamics. Learn how to tell if a horse is ride-able by using a safety checklist, gain an awareness of body positions that give your horse a comfortable ride, develop basic communication skills while mounted and practice how to get off when safety becomes an issue.

Parelli Freestyle Patterns
Parelli Finesse Patterns
Prerequisite: Savvy Club Member, Success Series #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (Clinics #1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,and 10 or equivalent highly recommended) OR self assessment through Level 3 Online and Liberty savvies, Freestyle and Finesse savvies recommended

Faith Ranch is located north east of the town of Ault, CO about 19 miles east of Ft. Collins, 60 miles north of Denver and 30 miles south of Cheyenne, WY.
DIRECTIONS TO FAITH RANCH
From I-25 take Exit 269 (Hwy 14) east for 14 miles. In the town of Ault, turn left on US85. Go north a mile and a half to County RD 86. Turn right (east), go 3 miles to County RD 41. Turn left (north) on the gravel road for 3/4 of a mile. We are the only house on the left (west). The buildings are grey and white. We usually have a Parelli sign out.
If coming in a vehicle not pulling a trailer, please park between the county road and the first white building on the left, facing south. If pulling a trailer pull in keep to the far right so you can do a u-turn and park in front of the Cleary building heading east for an easy exit.
PLEASE NOTE: For the safety and comfort of our family and guests:
+Absolutely NO SMOKING or open flame any where on the ranch.
+All dogs must be on a leash not longer than 6 feet.
(Your pets will be more comfortable at home and we prefer you give them that comfort. Only ranch dogs are allowed in the barns.)
+NO ALCOHOL is permitted on the grounds.

There are numerous hotels and motels in Greeley (12 miles) and Ft. Collins (19 miles).
Self contained campers are welcome to park at the ranch, but no hook-ups are available.

Just about anything you could want will be located in Ault, Pierce, Eaton, Greeley, or Ft.Collins. Subs, pizza, or burgers can be ordered and go-ferred. (Someone “goes for” it.)
Supermarkets are located in Eaton, Greeley and Ft. Collins.

If coming from out of state, bring a health certificate and proof of negative Coggins.
If your horse is staying overnight, bring any items you need for horse care: brushes, buckets, feed, etc. (Alfalfa-grass hay is available for an extra fee.)
Communicating with Horses—Level 1: 12’ line, halter, savvy string, carrot stick. (There is no riding in this class.)
Safe Ride--Level 1: same as above and add saddle and blanket/pad. A Parelli hackamore is also recommended. (We will be riding in class.)
Level 2 Ground Classes: Halter, 12’ and 22’ lines, carrot stick, savvy string. (There is no riding in these classes.)
Level 2 Riding Classes: Halter, 12’ and 22’ lines, carrot stick, savvy string, saddle and blanket/pad, hackamore or snaffle bridle.

Level 3-4 Ground Classes: halter, 12’, 22’, and 45’ lines, carrot stick, savvy string.
Level 3-4 Riding Classes: Halter, 12’, 22’, and 45’ lines, 2 carrot sticks, savvy string, saddle, blanket/pad, hackamore. Recommended: snaffle bridle and/or cradle bridle and Parelli bareback pad.

We encourage people to come and learn by auditing classes. Since the information is sequential and builds on itself it is important that you not missed any days/sessions. If you cannot audit a whole clinic it is better to come the first day and miss the remainder rather than the other way around. Bring a chair, sunscreen, notebook, pencil, water, etc. Teri prefers to teach Harmony (Level 2) and Refinement (Level 3) clinics outside if weather permits, so please dress for the weather.

If less than 4 participants register, the time/fee may be adjusted to the private or semi-private rate. You will be notified at least 1 week before the event if this looks like a probability. Maximum number of participants: 12

Stallions over the age of one are not permitted at group events. Please contact Teri directly for your horsemanship needs in regard to stallions.
